When you register your domain you can use .net .org .com. It has same impact. In fact .org has proven to actually work a bit better. But all 3 is fine. And also try to rank for a keyword with at least 30,000 hits om Google, but no more then 100,000 hits.

WEB HOSTING AND WORDPRESS

After you have purchased your domain and changed DNS to reflect your new host gator account. You are now ready to install Word Press. Click the Fantastico from within your CPanel and install word press. I recommend you install word press in root.

While WP or WordPress has been known as a blog software, it is a lot more. You can build web pages and no one can see it's based on word press. It's simply genius free CMS platform.

The reason so many uses Word Press is cause it's so easy to use and add new content etc.

Plus you do not have to do much of SEO. Like no frames. Build upon CSS etc. As a marketer you have enough to think about. We just do not need to sit and learn css and SEO.

Afte you have installed WordPress. Start with delete the default post, page and links. Rename default wordpress category and link directory. Go down to settings and change permalinks to custom and to /%postname%/. Also make sure your privacy policy is set so search engines scan your new wordpress platform. Some installations set this to private (Stupidly enough)

CONTENT AND WP PLUGINS

Now you need to add content and install plugins. Plugins can be installed from within wordpress. Just locate plugins and hit "Add New". Search for your preferred plugin.

I also recommend you to use the WP plugin named WordPress Unique And Autoblogged. They are not FREE. But they are good and it will make you Business. Unique can do some different things. Mainly it makes each post look unique to search engines without alter the visual text.

Autoblogged is used to pull all content you ever need using RSS. I recommend you pull keyword specific content per blog from Google Blog Search and Yahoo Answers. Do not go broad. Go exact. Make every blog very targeted. This way you rank faster and better.

Make several domains and many blogs, one for each keyword. It's fine to use sub-keywords as well on same blog. But less keyword gives a better ranking. Try also add some YouTube  videos and add some of your own written content on these pages.
